A wonderfully located seaside holiday home with private garden and courtyard terrace overlooking the sand dunes at Merlimont beach.
The house is fully independent and has driveway parking. The accommodation is on two floors. The ground floor has a large open plan lounge / dining room which opens directly on to the garden and courtyard. There is a new fully fitted kitchen, shower room and separate WC. The first floor has three bedrooms, one double one twin and one bunk bedroom. There is a bathroom with a bath / shower and another separate WC.
The courtyard borders the sand dunes and has the most amazing views to enjoy whilst eating or relaxing outside. There is also a large lawn garden perfect for games and soaking up the sea air. There is a garage available for storage and private on site parking is available for two cars. The house is at the end of a quiet cul de sac and sits right next to the sand dunes. The vast sandy beach and the town centre are just a short walk away.

Summary: Our second year here. Superb location right on the sand dunes only 10 mins walk to Merlimont Plage beach. Perfect holiday with our Dog. From Merlimont (which is very quiet and not a lot going on) it is a 90 min walk on the sand to either Le Touquet or Berck sur Mer. Also the property manager, Michael was very attentive. He responded straight away when we had difficulty finding the UK TV channels and came out and reset the satellite for the TV.

Summary: The location of the house was quite lovely: at the end of a quiet road, right next to the dunes and the gorgeous beach within very easy reach (as well as restaurants, bakery etc). The house itself could do with a bit of TLC. Nothing insurmountable, but we felt the price-quality ratio was a bit off. The agent was always quick te respond and helpful.

Summary: We came for a holiday in early Sept '22 with our dog. The property was perfect for us. Very well equipped kitchen, TV in spacious lounge/dining area with English channels, and really good Wi-fi. Large sunny garden with driveway for off street parking, and a private rear patio. Easy access to the beach being directly adjacent to the way-marked path through the sand dunes. Highly recommended.

Summary: A great stay in the perfectly quiet beach town of Merlimont plage. A short walk to the bakery. A short walk to the beach. The beautiful dunes as your neighbour. A well appointed beach house which felt homely instantly. Thank you for letting us call this little gem home for a while.

Summary: The booking process was easy and checking into the house was hassle free. The area is directly beside access to a nature walk in the dunes. The main beach of Merlimont was a 5-10 minute walk up the road (the beach is stunning, sandy and clean) The town itself does not have much going on activity wise (you can hire bikes and there is mini golf) not many shops or restaurants in Merlimont but all the other towns around the area have quite a lot. Bagatelle theme park is a 10 minute drive away and is excellent for children. Le Touquet is a great resort, parking can be tricky and it does get very busy. Etaples is a great fishing town which has some good activities for children and a huge market on Fridays. The house was fine for us as a base to explore the area and we would stay there again if we visited this area of France again. We stayed in the house with 2 young children and got on fine.

Summary: We stayed as a family of 6. 4 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 6. The house has everything you would expect if you were in your own home, including toys for the children. The kitchen was very well appointed with loads of glasses, crockery and cooking pans. Easy to use and to keep clean. The bedrooms were comfy as were the beds, with sufficient storage space. 2 bathrooms are ideal especially with small children. The house is a 10 minute walk from a lovely sandy beach. Shops in the town are great for local produce and there was a market one day. Very close to Laby Parc which is a fantastic adventure playground. Great holiday
